And finally we have caught all the way up to today!

Sunday at Saint Mary's Glacier

That same weekend we hiked up to Saint Mary's Glacier for a picnic with Grandma and Grandpa Felix



It was very windy at the lake, but it was still beautiful.

Brianna went climbing on the boulders

And looked out over the cold glacial lake

Saturday at Juniper Pass

We had a beautiful weekend a few weeks ago where we did a few quick hikes.



The sky was clear and the weather was great to get out and enjoy the mountains.

Brianna got to stand up on the ledge (with daddy holding her tightly) and take in the whole grand view out across the mountains and clear out to the great plains.

We could probably see over 100 miles easily that day.

Juniper Pass is perhaps one of my favorite places to go in Colorado because of the view. And it is so close, only about 30 minutes away.

Dance Party Makeup

Poppy and Grandma Tomey went out to a party and dancing one evening...



... Brianna had to get her makeup done as well :-)

Pumpkin Festival Fun!

While we were at the festival, Brianna got to play with an old wooden hoop.



Although these are suppose to be rolled using a stick, Brianna decided that it would make a better hula hoop!

It was quite entertaining watching her try to spin the hoop around

Unfortunately she never quite got it to work.

Cherry Creek Pumpkin Festival

Earlier this month (October) we sent to the Cherry Creek Pumpkin Festival



Brianna enjoyed playing on the hay bails

We also got to see some neat horse and carriages

We enjoyed spending the day with Grandma, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa too!

Church Playground

Rachael volunteers on our church's A/V team by making the presentation screens every week for the Praise Service. During one of those days while she was making the screens, Brianna and I went outside to play on the church playground.



Brianna loved playing in the little house...

... but she wanted all the chairs in the boat.

She worked so hard to get the chairs into the boat so we could take a boat ride.

She drove me around on an imaginary lake tour. I had to sit in the other chair while she steered the boat and babbled :-)

Bubble Bath Fun!

Having bubbles during bathtime is GREAT fun!



She quickly figured out that she could make bubble beards

"What did I just do?"

"Check it out, I look like Santa Claus!"

"Whoa! Bubbles in the mouth!"

More Brianna Moments

It is sometimes funny what you take pictures of...



Brianna has found my media center computer and likes to push the eject button on the DVD drives to watch them slide in and out.

She also likes to climb all over mommy. Here she has sat her butt down right on mommy's face!

With all her curls, she sometimes has bad hair days when she wakes up in the morning!

Another common place to find her is crawling around under her crib. She seems to enjoy talking to her stuffed animals under there.
