Father's Day Weekend in Vail

We spent my first Father's Day weekend in Vail at one of the sister hotels owned by the company that Rachael works for.

We got a HUGE room at the Vail Cascades Resort with a deck overlooking the river.

Brianna was the first one to try out the king-sized bed!

We also took a long walk along the Gore River trail to Lion's Head Villiage and made it back to the hotel for a delicious steak dinner and relaxing night away from home.

Another Quilt!

Bruce Short was in town again, and brought with him a fantastic gift from his wife Shar. She made Brianna a colorful new quilt. We are very thankful for such a thoughful gift and Bri loves it too!

Bathtime with Mommy

We posted pictures of daddy giving Brianna a bath last month, so we figured it was time to show mommy giving her a bath this time



Bri is also much happier to have baths now-a-days :-)

She is such a cutie!!

Hiking at Lair o' the Bear

Earlier this month we took our first hike up in the mountains at Lair o' the Bear.



It was a beatiful evening walking by the river and watching the sunset.

Brianna seemed to really enjoy being outside, and the all-terrain stroller did well on the gravel and dirt path.

Our friend, Hunter, came along for the hike as well. We even drove up to Evergreen for icecream afterward :-)
