Here is the "belly shot" picture at long last! This is Rachael and baby Brianna at 21 weeks.
Our little girl has been so active, even the doctors and nurses have been surprised to see and hear her moving around so much so early on. The doctor said that the movements are good and indicate that Brianna is a happy and healthy baby!

More pics from our Chicago Trip
Here are some more pictures from the Museum of Science and Industry at Chicago.
We drove down to visit the museum on our second day. It was quite overcast and foggy in Chicago that day.
This is an actual U-505 submarine from WWII. Rachael and I both agreed that this was the most awesome exhibit in the museum.
We also got to take a look at the Apollo 8 capsule. I don't think I would do well sitting in such a confined area for several days, these astronauts really had a lot of courage to go into outer space in these things!
They also had an exhibit titled "Earth Revealed" which shows the actual weather patterns of the earth projected onto the globe. Here is Australia and New Zealand!
All-in-all, we both had a lot of fun during our vacation to Chicago. We got to see most everything that we wanted to see and really enjoyed spending some time together. However, driving in Chicago is truly an "experience"... quite stressful actually :-)

Chicago or Bust!
For our second anniversary coming up on the 19th, Rachael and I have decided to spend some well deserved vacation time in Chicago! We are leaving early tomorrow morning, so we are headed off to bed early tonight. Don't worry though, we will be keeping the blog up to date along the way as we have it set up to go mobile!!! Keep checking in for pictures from our trip!

Anticipation
Today we find out if we are having a little boy or girl! We've been looking forward to this day for a while now and are both very excited to find out. Rachael and I woke up early this morning for me to take her in to work so that I can pick her up later. Our appointment is at 3:30pm, but I can hardly wait. We'll be sure to post the news and ultrasounds as soon as we can!

Look Ma', No More Boxes!
After a strenuous Saturday, Rachael and I (especially me) awoke rather sore and stiff for our second day of moving. Thankfully the hardest part was done and, with my mom's help, we were able to get the kitchen packed up and stored.
With the final box packed away and the last of the fragile items loaded into my parents vehicles, we were finally able to see the condo (nearly) empty again.
All that remains to do is some dusting, a little touch-up paint, and some steam cleaning. What a weekend!

Moving Day...
After checking with a lot of storage places, we decided to go with SmartBoxes (Think PODS, only a lot less expensive). They were delivered early Saturday morning, giving us all weekend to pack them full.
Thankfully, our friend Scott was able to help us move, even after his even earlier morning of PT for the Navy. He is a great friend and has always been willing to help us out. Ya gotta love the BK crown!
We spent the next several hours bringing furniture and boxes down the three flights of stairs to the storage units while Rachael continued to pack and clear a path for us. She was able to help with some of the lighter boxes, but I made sure to remind her that she wasn't suppose to be lifting very much.
With our first day of moving out of the way, Scott and a few other friends got together that evening to have some dinner and relax by playing a quick game of Risk followed by Guitar Hero.

Boxes!
Well, we are packing up the condo in preparation for our move. Our living room is currently overrun with boxes!
Rachael has been going through everything before she packs it up to make sure we don't take "junk" with us on our move.
The upstairs book cases are all cleared off and the books packed away. At least that is one area that is pretty much done!

Ultrasounds
I guess I'll kick this site off with some baby photos, or rather ultrasounds, as the "bun is still in the oven".
Wave for the camera little one!
And, yes, we are aware that they spelled Rachael's name wrong in the caption. Check out the Heart Rate near the bottom though, 168BPM! That little heart is pumping! We are glad to report that baby is healthy and mommy is doing good too!
These ultrasounds are already a few weeks old, but Rachael and I should have some new ones soon along with the long awaited announcement of what sex baby is! Look for those pics and the big announcement around mid November.

First Post!
So, here we go with the first post on our blog. I don't know how often I will have time to post, but I definitely want to try to take the time to keep up and post photos. I hope this site proves to be a great place for our family and friends to stay in touch and know what is happening in our lives.
